Go Fire!!!! Pik So Ourite!!!!
For over 45 years, Endeavour Hills Fire SC has been at the heart of community football in south eastern Melbourne. The Endeavour Hills Sports and Social Club Inc found its origin around the year 1972 from an idea coming from Yves Hennequin (ex Racing Club De Maurice). His objective to pass on his knowledge and experience of soccer to his young nephews and their schoolmates.
The club was originally known as the Sparrows Soccer Club. Informal training sessions were then held at a ground adjacent to the Dandenong High School. Friendly games were played every now and then. Dances and fund raising activities were organised, mostly at the Scouts Hall situated in Hammond Road Dandenong, in order to be able to buy jerseys, shorts, and soccer equipment and to pay these referees. Upon joining the Victorian Soccer Federation (now Football Federation Victoria), the club changed its name to the Noble Park Soccer Club. A better ground was sought and obtained from the council and since then, the clubhouse and ground have stayed at the Power Reserve, Power Road Doveton.
In 1980 members organised the name change to be now known as Endeavour Hills Soccer Club. The highlights of this club are the exception soccer trip to Mauritius in 1995, under 16 & under 18 Premiers in 1995-1996. FFV Premiership Provisional League in 2000 then come the Promotion to State League of the women’s team on 2001. In 2015, once again we wanted to put an important extension to the Club’s name related to a very skillful team back in Mauritius, Fire Brigade FC, as a result we are now known as Endeavour Hills Fire Soccer Club.
We pride ourselves on being a community club where kids and parents from all walks of life can become part of the great game of soccer in a fun, friendly and safe environment. We value the development of our players and volunteers as much as we do success on the park.
Endeavour Hills Fire SC have currently 5 teams:
FFV State League 4 South Firsts & Reserves Men’s.
FFV Metro League Master Over 35.
Bayside Football Association Women Premier League.
And for a second year, the Over 45 Soccer League.
The club continues to grow, however the priorities and objectives of the club are built around providing the best opportunities for junior players in the community to develop the same love for the game that the senior guys have.
